WW will back me up on this: killing a band is a special special thing for Texas boys. Hell, if we shot a band, we would probably just pack it up and go home.

He was a bit shocked when I rolled out that banded speck with a single shot. I don't think he believed me until Eb was all the way back with it.

Still remember it like it was yesterday. Bird was 100 yards up and flying overhead when you fired and Eb did a 1/4 mile blind retrieve and there it was gleaming in the sun. I may be over exaggerating some but first bird in and you were the only one who could shoot safely. Eb picked it up and you go it's banded. Only bird I've seen banded.

Then we said lets text Matt
You may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas.

Got the text while at a wedding event. Tried to disregard it, but texted back with a lot of curse words. I asked who shot it, but I knew in my mind it was a dumb question.

Byers was the only one with the safe shot. I could have taken one and rung the frick out of his ears, but I'd miss and then he would have taken the band and told me to leave.

I couldn't believe it when it came up banded. First bird of the hunt.

My goose shooting skills didn't level up until the next weekend.

I've heard he would have taken the band if you had hit it or not.

If someone else shoots it, but I go out and fetch the bird, on all fours, while picking the bird up in my mouth...can I have the band?

I've noticed on nearly every video I've watched, that most shots look like sky busters...

I to like feet down and wings cupped, I think it has more to do with camera perspective... the height that is.

I bought a whole lanyard full... they really pop against my black hoodie....

Does anyone know where I can shoot ducks in MN. I have all the gear... and a bunch of bands to prove I'm a great hunter. I just need a general area... I'm a great scouter... :grooving:
