Spent the weekend hunting fields west of me for geese primarily. I definitely saw the most geese in my life. The first day we shot 25 cacklers, snows, Ross, and specks with a few mallards. The second was about the same. We shot 25 cacklers, snows, and Ross, but did it in a lot less time. On the first day, I shot my first ever speck.

He was with Peter and Mary.

Actually, he would go hide when the time came. Camera shy apparently.

Since T Man is out with knee surgery, I had it again. We went out for what we hoped to be a duck and resident shoot. It turned out to be a resident shoot. Got 9 this morning.

Thanks. Been getting lucky. I've shot more geese this season than I ever have before.

At this point, I was able to put 59 geese (cacklers, Ross, snows, specks, and residents) and 4 mallards.
