Looks like it will be a cold & icey weekend, for sure. The club house is going to be full. So that means that the BS will be flowing along with the "Crown, Bub Lite, Avion and dice.

Thanks Cason, I'll try and get more of her in action too. Just got to get a hole open..and keep it open.

Westie...my mother's house (and mind for the 1st 27yrs.) is at Lamar & Pendleton. So I know what you mean. Still not as bad as S. Parkway and Larderdale. Both areas are run down and no way to fix up. I still got the house, got a good lady renting it. Still, I'm always pack-n. Judge me by 12.....don't need 6 supporters.

It's not about the numbers anyways, it's about the story. But everyone wants to pile 'em high when they have the deek. sometimes it just does not happen like that though.

That's for sure on the momentary lapse of judgement due to too much intake of a Intoxicating drink. I will not let her get in a yellow Lamborghini, go drag racin, and get arrested. But I will let her go 4 wheelin & get wet and muddy. :hammer:

And so the story begains:

He traveled on. Ginger had a great time for the last weekend of duck season. He showed up from "Luladucks1" in box ready for what the next weekend was to bring. Full of all the gifts and additions that everyone had added along the way. He was very quiet. From his start with D. Comeaux in Louisianan for early teal season, to her stop up in the land of the great lakes in Michigan with Woody&Botiz, her travels were full of excitement and memories. So to let her rest a few days, I brough her home a let him see the sights and sounds of Memphis. As seen before, he got up close and personal w/ the cockpit of the MD-11. Made a trip down Beale St. and listen to some 'blues'. Went by "King Elvis's place. came home and rested by the fire. And that was Tuesday.

Thursday was pool day.
he checked the divin borad and made a splash in the pool.

Friday was travel day. But before we left, I took a few pics of everybodies autographs.

Friday, work day came and went with bad reports from the farm again.
No birds, low temps and all bodies of H2O frozen. The weekend was looking bad.
The forecast did not play in our favor. Lows below 32f. and highs in the mid to upper 40's. Not much melting to take place. If it did, it would freeze up again.
We Traveled on.

Upon arriving at the club house (1030pm) Tim the land Surveryor was in and along with Vic-our local bass pro. Fuzzy-our house squatter/ retired truck driver was just about to turn in along with Bob-our other fishing pro/retired. The Nashville Travelers were here too, with younger one already crashed….Its hell being a 18. I owed the surveryor a bottle of "Crown", because I finished off his last bottle and I had to replace it. Being the gentleman and up-standing club member he is, He refused the bottle but said that he would par-take in a partner ship of that said bottle. I poured us one up!!!!!! Maybe 2. It was at this time that the other Brethren arrived from the local watering hole. Randy-club pres., the older of the Nashville travelers and Derrin- our Now ACCU-Sprits man. Derrin was our sprits man……he was one of the reps for a local disturator, but has since change and
become a seller of the machine that keep the area bartenters on the up and up. No more free drinks to their friends when the bar owner is not looking. Need I say that they were ful of joy & laughter. It was at this time that a bottle of "Avion Silver" hit the table. Ck out the level of in the bottle. Ginger was in the middle of all this too.
It was at this time I told of all the places that "G" had been.

So we rasied a toast to "G"…. Toast again for a second time. Did I say watch the bottle level? Well as the night progress…..sprits and laughter prevailed. There was stories from hunts past. There was stories about furture hunts. There was stories from……I can't go there. Another toast!!

Coldcock....that stuff is nasty hot……and cold. Time to see what everyone else had added to the travels. The beads were in a tangle mess. But everything else was in great shape. We traveled on. The night got later and we decided that we would sleep in and let the sun come up and start a thaw. There was so much going on that Nashville #1 got up and joined in.

After everyone got up excpte for a few. We check on the walking wounded and made a big breakfast to sent us off on. Got Ginger loaded and off to Pit 4 we went. When we got there, the place was locked up, but we traveled on. Opened up a hole and set the blocks plus G. Got in the pit & waited. Didn't take long before a pair of gads made the mistake of flyin just a little to close. 2 on the hanger. And so the day went. I had to leave to set up for the fish fry, but I left Ginger in good hands. I came back to the house and made up the hush puppies, set up the pots for the grease, etc.etc. Bout sunset the crew came in with limits for all in the party. So far Saturday was looking good.

It was about this time that "trapper" showed up with his pet "beaver". Ginger and that beaver looked good together. Saturday nite was quiet compared to Friday...and Im glad. Them 'blue moons' only come around so othen for me. the desert was apple and preach fried pies. That brings us to Sunday. After Saturdays limits, we was just going through the motions this morning. We knew that we couldn't be bless with what happen the day before. So off to pit 2 to burn off the morning till time to pack it up. Lock up again, but a little work was worth it. Another set of limits to close out the yr.

Many Thanks to ya for letting me grace the present of Ginger. Hope yalls closeing was as good as ours.

its a french fry....that thang would eat anything. Had hands that would reach out and get stuff from you.
He was just a bit bigger than the decoy itself.
