Thanks guys. I sure did enjoy my time with Ginger. As fas as the pet beaver goes....Trapper said that sooner or later that little dude would take a bite of a finger and that would be it for him. ( I take it he's had several before.) I didn't get a pic of it, but right be fore we left out, one of the guys lady friend showed up and had the beaver in her lap. ( Beaver on beaver ) :lol3:
There's the joke.

BC.....shipping "G" out to ya. When I get a tracking #, I'll shoot you a PM.

Awesome write up Hump!!

Maybe if I was a little younger and a little more willing we could've had a picture of ginger while we were petting a couple of beavers.

And that is a great set of pics and write up. Good job Hump.

Hump!! Ginger made it here in one piece! It's kinda cool to have it back in hand after the journey so far. I couldn't help but notice some of the New names on the deek along with some new additions. Ill be honest Hump, I don't see this last shot of Rumple Minze making it past this coming Saturday
I will see what kind of trouble we can get into prior to his journey back South......

Thanks, Dan. Glad you got it. I know that Ginger will get to see some "Bulls" game or 2. To bad Rose is out. He was very good for Cal. here in Memphis. Magic Mile. Chicagoland speedway. ( on my list to take in a race or 2) Take him out on that glass ledge. I don't think he's afraid of heights. He's good for it. A real trooper. Chick magnet too. Or should I say "beaver".
Be sure to take alot of pics....He's a camera hound. :lol3:

That joker sure has travelled some miles this year. I haven't seen it, but has anyone tried to figure out how many miles she's been?

He/she certainly attracts the hens/hoes....orrr maybe it's just Papachessie

Hunting was aaaalright today. If we (Papachessie :hi: ) were shooting better the numbers would look better.

6 ducks
1 Goose

3 Hen Mallards
2 Drake Mallards
1 ***HEN*** Buffle Head
1 - 15lb Canada :sarcmark:

Bird pics to come at the end of the trip!

***Edited. Possum noticed another damn brown duck*** #facepalm-kinda

Ginger attracted these kinda beavers when we had her. I think having Dan along made the beavers a little more eager also.

Hmmmmm.....If I was given exact addresses and GPS coordinates of all of the spots the decoy has been hunted, I could give you a semi accurate guess :hi:

Real talk, I'll see if I can post up some theoretical mileage calculations later today.

Who's waterfowl season is still going ? . - we going to share ginger for summer vacation ? House partying ? Bars ? Bring to work ? Some boats and hoes action ? Get him on a wake board ? When's ginger getting an old lady ? Settle down ? Or is he going to stay a waterfowl batchler?

Alright, here's what I came up with so far. Yes, I've made some assumptions about where some of you are located/hunted but given the information I have, and the internetz stalking skillz I've employed, I came up with the following so far:

Here is Gingers journey so far...

6,952 Miles ( minimum )

11 States hunted

18 different stops ( possibly more )

I didn't count all of the signatures yet, and it appears that the deek has made stops in every state along the Mississippi flyway with the exception of Iowa and Kentucky*** ( ***not sure as there is no data for the Bmoy and KyFowl20 hunts.)

Yep, Ol Ginger has traveled further than a trip from Chicago to Bejing China.(http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/distances.html?n=64)

Almost the distance from Alaska to New Zealand.

Almost the diameter of the Earth at the equator.

I do believe ginger has been severely violated since it left me in September and will have mental scaring. This will require long term rehabilitation. The poor thing even had a beak-ectomy. Now it's off on a wild goose chase.

That's awesome. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

Swamp,
I haven't seen the totals in a while. I just posted what we had done over it when it left here.
