Indaswamp,

If the 26,27 of October is still open, that's the 2nd week for us. Usually pretty slow and it would be just me, but it's already in my neck of the woods so you can put me down for that if still open.

North Zone Illinois Oct 19- Dec 17

Ended up with 155 doves in 2 days.

I just hope there is something to write. Second week is tough. I looked at the past couple of years. There are a lot of zeros

Maybe I'll have to take Ginger, I like Red better, to do a little archery hunting that week in addition to duck hunting. There's a nice little pond right in front of one of my stands where he can watch the action.

If you are going to get out in the middle of the week, I can overnight it to you. Or maybe we could do a hand off. I have a client in Naperville. I need to make a stop in on after two weeks away.

Shoot, I wish I could invite you up to my club, but the blind will be packed opening week. I plan on hunting over it a few days. But gettin it to you early is no problem if you think it would improve your odds of shooting something over it.

If you are going to be in Naperville, let me know. More than likely I'll be able to meet you somewhere. Normally I hunt before work almost every day that time of year, so hopefully I'll be able to get a couple. I'll definitely give it my best.

If you guys are in Naperville and we don't meet up for at least a beer, consider our Internet friendships over.

Inda, due to a job opportunity arising I will not be able to hunt the rambler over the specified dates. I will be interning with a petroleum corporation and they even invited me to work over my winter break. I apologize for the withdrawal, but I hope this comes in enough time that someone can take the Rambler in my place.
I apologize for any inconveniences.

@MO-no problem. see if you can find a replacement...if not, I'm sure someone will step up and take the open spot.

Inda, at your convenience please remove me from the Rambler Schedule, I have contacted all the people I was going to take with me on the hunt and the consensus is for us to just throw those dates back into the hat. Hopefully someone along the line will pick it up those dates.
Like I said, my apologies for the inconveniences everyone.

More pics to come but we dropped 9 on day 1. I'll update the count/species total later. It was a good hunt with doubletheshovel and suicidal_scaup. They were great hosts to get things started.

A guy backed out so day 2 plans have shifted. Could be rough without a breath of breeze blowing and blue bird skies....
