That's always a tough one. Especially when numbers aren't shared.

Just be glad everyone, including the rambler, survived the trip. There was a time or two I thought the wind was going to blow him away.

A couple years ago, I had the rambler up in Canada. We finished the hunt, posed the rambler with the birds for the pile picture.

After the pics were taken, one of the guys drives the truck pulling the trailer up to load everything. He was tired and not paying attention. He pulled the trailer over half of our birds and the decoy.

I watched it happen in slow motion. I even let out the NOOO scream. Luckily for me the rambler went unscathed.

There was talk of tannerite also.

That's what should be done with the decoy at the end of each season. A Viking funeral if sorts.

Nice to see many of you did better than I. Good luck

Heres to the stars lining up & Ginger's mojo. That would be a great way to end the season.
One of the kids has a spot up off of 49 hyw N of Fair Oaks, and they said that they are in the birds too.
Have not talked to the guys today to see what they did at our farm, but this pass Tusesday we killed a few. Mixed bag there too. Mallards, gads and some teal. We have a some birds, but not like I'd like to see them. Not thick like they say they are up north of here.

Phone app says that the closing weekend has a mixed bag of moisture coming our way. Still way to far out to belive that.
Hope that the weather does not come true and the birds don't leave. Big closing weekend plan....fryin up the crappie and hush puppies. Makin home made fried pies to go with the home made ice cream. Got to sent the boys home on the last weekend wanting more. And fatter too. I say that cause most will not come back to hunt the snow geese.
Save us a few and sent them south towards Monroe.

Hump.

Ginger and all her extras made the exchange between Luladucks1 and myself today. Looking forward to a couple days with her.
She don't look bad after all the travels. She brought with her some cold and windy weather for the close.

HVAC for those folks that have them purple & white cargo carriers in the sky. Not a bad place to recieve your weekly share of life's riches when the eagle flies. Been here longer than most but not as long as some. Just tryin to hold out 8 to 10 more yrs and then they can have this place. ( This place meaning-----Memfo.) Will move farther south or west.
