Yep, phones for navigating are not reliable, sorry Betty. It's like having an on demand water heater, it will get the water warm but is finicky, inefficient and not reliable


Haha I see what you did there! My on demand goes up to 180* F and has no issues. Just saying lol.

This feature saved my life/day/hunt...whatever...I was lost in Bayou Meto. It was dark and very foggy. Visability about 100 feet. I switched on the etrex and followed the tracks I'd layed the day before and ended up right at the exact tree Id marked with orange tape.
I use tracks a lot!

That's the tree.
Those three ducks...That's a Bayou Meto limit of mallards. I shot a triple with my 870. I stood there yelling, "that's how we do it in Illinois!!!". Yeah!

I had a book of cords in my pack. Somebody is probably trying to figure out if the GOLD I buried is still in them locations. :lol3:
I wonder if they are smart enough to figure out that the gold is buried in mason jars in the Wooley Swamp.
