I witnessed this phenom myself at the duck club. Of course we could not agree but I insisted it was spiderwebs.
The guys said it came from cottonwood trees or cotton fields so I agreed with them.
Arguing with drunks is something I avoid and will go with the flow.
So....its cotton.

I had webs stuck to my windshield wipers yesterday afternoon. Like streamers going down the road. This happens every year. It just may be a little more intense, this year.

Ugh! I blame DU. Mallards no longer migrate, but spiders do. So, now its not safe to go outside? What kind of damn spiders can fly?

No where is safe UR. We see it out here on the west coast all the time during the fall. Your gonna have to stay inside until the first freeze.
