What, if any, duck hunting shows do you like?

Postby GomerPyle » Mon Sep 30, 2013 12:05 pm

I like RNT-V and there's another one, maybe the one that Zink does (can't remember for sure), that I like. I remember liking the Duck Commander show on outdoor channel too, but it seems like most of the current ones are just way too obnoxious...

can't stand, after every shot, hearing the people pitch every single sponsor they have...they're worse than Nascar drivers...

"Man Billy that was a nice shot you made with your brand new Browning A5 in Max-4 camo...that Federal Black Cloud combined with that awesome Kick's High Flyer really put a whoppin' on that duck. lucky for you, you had a burris speed bead installed to help you make such a difficult shot and that limbsaver recoil pad really helped you get back on target for the follow up shot. Now toss it in the Yeti cooler to keep it fresh so we can throw it on the Big Green Egg when we get home"....

:fingerhead:

The wife and I loved laughing at The Duck Commander and their funny antics. It was fun.
We looked forward to it.

And then came Duck Dynasty which left a bad taste...
We no longer watch any type of hunting show due to that horrible taste.
Lee and Tiffany didnt help.

I make my own shows in my head now.

I know this isn't just a waterfowl show but my favorite hunting show is Gun It with Benny Spies. Most of the time he acts like an idiot but I think this is the closest representation to what most of us do when we go hunting. I like how he pretty much hunts anything with fur or feathers too, that's how I am.

The only duck show I watch is DD Jack!!! (DD= Duck Dynasty for all you yuppies!) It makes me happy happy happy! I missed part of the 3rd season but HEY! I can get that shtuff at walmart.

Their actual hunting dvd's are pretty good though. And I really don't mind all of Buck Gardner's dvd's either.

Is that the show with the terrible theme song?
I hope someday someone remembers this old dog with kindness and gives me to a puppy.

Anyone who has never seen Wisconsin's Waters and Woods has no business entering into this discussion.

Someone actually put this on television.

You think that is bad? This is not a hunting show, but somehow it also made it on TV

This is its intro/theme song

If you're in Wisconsin and you have trouble fitting in (we are popular, so we get to be picky) just yell "Get the frabil!" whenever something even remotely resembling an action sequence takes place.

And prepare to be accepted.

That show is more like a rally for a highschool football game. Only thing missing is a mascot and band.
