Ohio, You should have cauterized that thing right away with a welding torch while you had the equipment handy. :lol3:

Can't say any of my own idiotic slag injuries in tennis shoes ever bled. They seem to cauterize, sterilize, and then feminize (dancing and screaming typically ensue)...

looks like you were snake bit.....i sent a hunk of slag down into my shoe once....and i couldnt get that dammmm shoe off fast enough....now i have a nice scar.....i think youll be ok if you dont walk in the water on the GULF COAST!!

I would clean it up with alcohol and a bit peroxide and an antibiotic ointment and a huge band aid and see a Doc for a tetatnus shot and a stronger antibiotic ointment and perhaps some antibiotics like amoxil.
