Buy the ones ODuck linked to (the same Columbus waders I've told you about twice prior to today) and be done with it.

I'll cure you of your hang up on buckle straps. Every time you complain about them I'm going to slap you in the face.

If I am going to pay $200 for something, that is going to last 2 years tops, I have the right to be picky. Damnit.

Those boots only have 600 grams of insulation. The Columbias have 1000. You and I get cold feet all the time.

That is a good point.

I am going to continue to look until 1pm today. If I dont find what I want, then my hand is forced and I will buy those.

If the buckle ever affects me I would just unbuckle it.... velcro sucks when its a year old and dirty lint lives in it.

Nothing sisy about it... I will wear them if I have to, but I would never had imagined buying a pair like I want would be so difficult.

Last few times, I just walked into cabelas and purchased something in minutes, but they went walmart style and now buying outdoor goods around here is a pain in the ass.

Won't do that after capsizing the boat... neoprene floats.

Yes, those neoprenes will keep your feet and legs safely above the surface of the water .......... while your head drags along the marsh bottom. Wear a PFD if youre worried about drowning!

A standard life jaket will not hold a person afloat if they are wearing any wader type not made from neoprene... The DNR officer that pulled our boat out for us explained how the MI DNR rans some field trials to pick out thier uniforms and equipment.

So let me get this straight, you are taking the word of someone who works for state government regarding your personal safety? Michigan residents

That and personal experience... we swam 50 to 60 yards to shore with no life jakets and neoprene waders on.

Nope, my mind has been made up... I am buying ones with buckles... like I said I will exact my revenge if I need to.

seriously though, I looked at those when you posted the link... 5 - 10 buisness day lead time... that would wipe out half the good part of our season. I'm just going to go buy a pair that I don't really want and call it good.

not walmart in that sense.... brand selection.

Cabela's brand is all they have and because of that their selection/variaty of features has suffered.

Those boots only have 600 grams of insulation. The Columbias have 1000. You and I get cold feet all the time.

Best tip for cold feet is to not sweat. keep sweat from happening by spraying your feet with aerosole antiperspirant. then use a wicking sock like poly pro, then a good wool sock on top. cold foot problem solved.

could also sprinkle a little cayenne pepper between your toes, the capsasin dilates your capillaries for more blood flow-real talk.
