Bad luck

So let's say hypothetically you're known as 'bad luck.' What do you do to change your luck?

Roommate in college strongly believed you could only have so much bad luck, so he would try to use it up before something he needed good luck for. I've never seen anyone win so consistently at the craps table as this guy, and now he's a professional poker player.

Before you hunt, go buy a scratch off lottery ticket, not one of the $1 ones either. If you lose, you've used up most of your bad luck for the day, if you win, buy everyone in the blind a bottle of bourbon and they'll forget about the lack of birds while you're there.

If you were from the Deep South, you would know this. First, you present a black girl with a peacock feather.

I've practiced this. I used to play solitaire before I went out. Didn't matter if I played 10 minutes or 30 minutes I'd play until I won. Didn't work for me.

Because you played until you won, thereby using up your good luck before the hunt. Losing is the point, you want to use up the bad luck.
