If something bad happens to you once, it's an occurance.

If the same bad thing happens to you twice, it's a coincidence.

If the same bad thing happens to you three times, there are outside forces making it happen.

Easy enough. Neighbors have peacocks. Next?

Before you hunt, go buy a scratch off lottery ticket, not one of the $1 ones either. If you lose, you've used up most of your bad luck for the day, if you win, buy everyone in the blind a bottle of bourbon and they'll forget about the lack of birds while you're there.

I've practiced this. I used to play solitaire before I went out. Didn't matter if I played 10 minutes or 30 minutes I'd play until I won. Didn't work for me.

Because you played until you won, thereby using up your good luck before the hunt. Losing is the point, you want to use up the bad luck.

By that logic, Assa ought to be Dead-Eye Dan on pintails this season....... :hammer: :sarcmark:

No, he has to miss the rest of the birds first to run the bad luck out. I'd say at least two boxes worth.

I'm gonna catch one and you're gonna watch. Then you're gonna say I'm sorry. Then you catch one. And we rage.

I'm gonna catch one and you're gonna watch. Then you're gonna say it's tiny. Then you catch one. And it swallows mine.

That would be fine if it were the only thing your curse has wrecked. Think about all of the DHC hunters you impacted last year.
