We have more mods than we do posting members.

Can we get a barrel sticker for the mods? "Absentee at DHC"?

This has been quite entertaining. Here is my opinion. I won't be caught dead with a barrel sticker or really any sticker on anything of mine. The only people that should be is the people who get a check or free stuff and in return rep their product. It's the key of any sponsorship. Why advertise for them for nothing. If you want it for the looks go ahead not my problem if you want to be that guy.

I'm pretty sure that I denied him myself. It would have been weird for him to read all the posts about himself in the mod forum.

I must admit, Mr. Dan, that I find your acceptance of my message of tolerance somewhat surprising, given some of your recent posts. I expected something more along the lines of this cretins unimaginative threats:

yeah my names cole and im a duck hunter. i just think its pathetic that theres even a topic about this. maybe you should re-evaluate yourself before you go off judging people about what they want to do with the sport. if there having fun with it so be it. theres a lot of people around my area with team names that run barrel stickers. i dont think any different of them.

This guy is a master...waving an I'm butthurt flag while screaming I'm not butthurt. Does his shotgun have a Master Blaster barrel sticker? 50/50

With respect Mr. Betty, I think you are misinterpreting Cole's apparent vacillation between butthurt and unbutthurt positions. I believe, and Cole may be able to back me up on this if he is still lurking, that his initial post was made in anger due to all the barrel sticker bigotry and hunteamaphobic rhetoric he encountered in the early pages of this thread. But when he saw the atmosphere of genuine tolerance and acceptance that Mr. Dan and I were beginning to generate, he had a change of heart and quickly adopted a tone of reconciliation. Now I see that Mr. hop

are still stuck in the old mindset of intolerance. To them I will paraphrase the final speech from Rocky IV, "If Cole can change, and Dan can change, then EVERYBODY can change." (You'll just have to imagine the applauding communist party officials for yourselves).

So, the next time you see one of these alternative hunting lifestyle couples or "teams" at the draw, or launch, or rave, don't dismiss them as "unnatural" or other hurtful stereotype. Try talking to them. Ask them about the health benefits of hunting with a covered barrel. Explain why you chose to do it bare-barreled. Heck, maybe even ask them to share your blind. Just be careful not to drop a shell, I think we've already had enough people butthurt by this topic.
