Postby wanapasaki » Sat Nov 09, 2013 12:23 am

First, glad no one was hurt.

Second, how do you still have a work truck?

I don't get my lay off till friday, which may come sooner now.. They are figuring what they can do as far as severance pay. As for now, still stuck in San Diego, far far away from my hunting grounds

Actually the company provided me with workmens comp paper work as soon as they showed up :lol3: . As soon as I saw she had a baby in the car I panicked and jumped out into the oncoming @****** that wouldn't stop to be see if anyone was alright.. Typical big city california mentality... Fortunately the baby is ok and same with the mother. Her husband showed up, and was somewhat of an butt unlike his wife but its understandable. He was probably pretty nerved out.

3's, you got one more coming, keep your head down
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,
Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it,
Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,
Snap it, work it, quick - erase it,
Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,
Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it,
Plug it, play it, burn it

Understandable? Understandable my ***. I'd have asked him the following: is wifey ok? Is the baby ok? Do you want to be the one who goes to the hospital? And I would have proceeded to send him. Frickin wimp would've changed his tune mighty fast. :hammer:

That's why I hate those Image that run red lights. I had a suburban do that and crush my ranger. But as long as nobody was hurt, everything else can be replaced. I hope you had witnesses. That Image lied to the cop and none of the probably 50 people that saw it stopped, so no way to prove who ran the red light, so I had to eat my deductible

Actually, that is the first truck I was in that got totaled. No pictures of the second, so I guess it didn't happen

I've always hated red light runners. In addition to totaling a truck and clearly putting me and my wife's life in serious danger, they screwed up my commute probably 20 or more times per year when they destroy someone else's vehicle and I have to wait as the pick up the pieces.

In a way that sort of redeems her for me. Seems like that shows her problem is inattentiveness rather than putting others in danger with a "Gonna beat it" attitude. I think we've all been insufficiently attentive at one time or another. Glad everyone's OK, buddy!

I agree. She didn't lie and while someone could have gotten killed, it sounds like an honest mistake.

Now will she learn or is she a hopeless airhead?

I'll sale you my 3/4 ton 2001 GMC Crew Cab, with 80,000 miles on it. Love the truck but need it in 1/2 ton for better gas mileage.
