tits- I voted chewy, but had to explain my answer. I like a chewy center, but a semi crisp crust on the bottom. It's a very thin window...go to far and you end up with crispy cookies.

talking of bacon, i like it neither chewy or crispy.. there is a fine ballance where it just seems to melt.. there is a slight crunch, but it is as soft as butter.. thats good bacon..

Going to have to try pecans. I've used black walnuts but to buy them they are expensive and husking those things is a messy PITA.
