I've had them dig through my computer bag to find a mini-tube of toothpaste I forgot to take out and then re-scan my bag.

But.. there is no reason you can't take booze on as long as it's in bottle 3.4 oz or less. Consuming it during the flight might be another matter, but if kept on the DL, I can't imagine many flight attendants that would give a crap even if they noticed.

Ha! I had put a small tube in my computer bag to use on an overnight flight out of the country.
