Stoked...First banded bird!!!!

Postby shocktroop » Fri Jan 28, 2005 8:38 pm

Finally, after reading all about others banded bird stories with envy, I got one this evening. A gorgeous mature Ringneck. I called the number, was told I'd get a certificate of appreciation in a few weeks and the details on the bird. I've hunted ducks for 8-10 years or so, and really really, hunted em hard for the past 2-3 or so, and gotten scads of birds every season, but finally a band!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!

Congrats glad to hear it.
Everyone must believe in something and I believe I'll go hunting. When men bond something must die.
