well as long as everyone is taking a shot....a pintail....definately not a gadwall.....I'd say a imature drake pintail

Woody,
I was pretty confident that it was a Hen Pintail, but have to admit that it looked as if it had webbed feet like a diver. I like ID quizzes maybe that would be a great subject for next year. We can rip the wings, bills, feet, etc and post a picture with a small piece of the duck anatomy. Maybe show like ten or twenty pictures, and the one who guesses the most or all correctly wins a guided hunt with Admin and Admin2! :thumbsup: Hey, never hurts to try! Wings cupped, Pete
