Need some info. Myself and some good hunting buddies of mine hunt 50+ days a year now. We have one private spot that we get into the geese on but we get wore out by the grind of the public duck hunting. We have been kicking around the idea of leasing a pit next season. We live right across the river from St Louis on the Illinois side. We would like to find something within a couple of hours in either state. We know that we will not be able to get into a burner hole the first couple years, but we don't hunt for a sky busting limit every day. We would like to find something that we can have good working birds. We are more happy with 6-8 good working birds rather than a four man limit that we had to shoot two boxes at. If anyone has any info about any areas that we could call or visit we would really appreciate it. We would like to start making some contacts now. Thanks for helping a brother out.

You may have better luck on the IL. forum.
