So.....our government is going to put 8 million towards battling a snake problem on foreign soil.

Why not put that same effort towards the eradication of pythons in the Florida everglades?

That's understandable, a need to protect our assets. But really, 8 million being spent towards an effort that may or may not be successful.

Wouldn't be the first time we've pissed away millions on unsuccessful projects, and it certainly won't be the last..

"The mission is part of an $8 million program from the Interior and Defense departments, Phys.org reports. If the mission is successful, experts may expand it to other parts of Guam. In other words, maybe a sequel is forthcoming."

How the hell could this cost $8 million dollars...?

8 million could buy 1600 rednecks with shotguns a 5,000 dollar vacation to Guam. They could walk in a line and just about cross the entire island.

I believe there is cheaper ways of doing this
