Whats your weather like in your area?

Postby charlie beard » Tue Dec 10, 2013 12:42 pm

Here now 23--13 in the morning 0 Thurs morning.
River is locked up except for a few open holes that are full of geese.
I think the ducks are gone.
Went to the river today and set in the truck and watched.
Lot's of ice ducks going South.

Appears the geese are staging to go South.

47, brisk North wind, clear skies. Pretty chilly out there with the wind chill factor and without my hunting garb on.

OHHHH I know it's hot down here compared to some places. Not sure if I would want to deal with that kind of cold and snow. This is just fine.

Perfect! 10 degrees at dawn with the birds all concentrated on the rivers. Steady shooting with a great mix of different species

I have a resentment for southernerns that I think comes from jealousy. They don't have to feel the pain I feel, or know the struggles I know. They just get to see girls daisy dukes all year round, while up here girls just say screw it and let themselves get fat and wear sweat pants and hoodies everywhere.

Seriously. My attitude towards MN couldn't be worse right now.

Easy Dan, you're talking crazy right now. The North is way better than the South, we proved that when we beat them in the War.

Honestly when all you have to fall back on life is "Well atleast I'm not a Browns fan" you're life probably blows. Its like saying "well... at least I don't have AIDs."

I know they are still crying about that down south but that was like TWO HUNDRED years ago. They might still be bitter, but the thrill of that victory has long since worn off.

Florida isn't the South. It's like a piece of the North that broke off, floated away and then lodged itself at the bottom.

I think of this gif everytime I see some messed up news story, because for some reason it seems like they all happen in Florida. Florida would not be missed.

Florida is where we send all our old, retired, geriatrics. So have all the bikini season you want... :hammer:

And quit taking driving lessons from them.

You know... Drive the speed limit. Turn your head and look before you merge... Etc., etc., etc...

Not too cold, not to warm.....just right. I suspect a lot of ducks will get pushed to the saltwater tonight as everything else locks up with ice. I'd trade it all for year round bikini watching.Image

highs in the upper teens to low 20's during days, single digits at night. Cannot remember a year when everything was locked up this early. All ponds, marshes, and rivers are solid. Now what?
