Was under water at one point and according to Oceanographers is on its way to being like that again.

Wouldn't trust those oceanographers, they'll say anything to make the papers.

cold and snowy today for much of the afternoon...supposed to get down to single digits in the next couple days.

first real snow of the year and they were putting down so much dang salt you couldnt drive 100 yds without having to hit the washer fluid.

i had a little chip in my windshield from the summer, size of a dime. when i hit the highway this afternoon i watched it turn into a 3 foot long crack like you read about. i guess the cold and then heat from the defroster was too much. RIP my windshield.

We just went through about 10-12 days of well below freezing temps, with about 5" snow on the ground.
-10 to -20 evening temps, with a slight warming to 10-15 degrees during the day.
Today it was a balmy 43,t shirt weather for a change.

teens-30's Snow every now and then. No good storms yet. A bunch of my buddies have been ice fishing on anywhere from 3-8" of ice. Slaying the Brook Trout right now. Sea ducking weather is upon us!

I cannot believe how cold its been already. Hopefully the rest of the winter isn't this brutal. There was a lively debate about global warming in class. Dude from Kenya said no way, this dude from Nigeria said yeah its a real thing. I said I don't care I just don't wanna live here anymore.

My apartment has a western exposure so the wind is making me pay a fortune to heat this place. I have the thermostat in my living room turned down to 50 and I just keep my door closed and keep the thermostat in my room higher.
