Flying solo on brant this year...

Postby Redbeard » Fri Dec 13, 2013 4:43 pm

...for the first time. Was a bad year to gear up and be excited bout it. Majority of the birds arrived late for our short 30 day season. Was tough hunting...the patience part anyways. But we shot some birds. Feel like a seasoned pro now

Redbeard, that's cool, like the plywood blind and would use one but I can only carry so much so have never done it. Do the brant down there taste good? Seems like the guys from the east coast say theirs taste bad at times. Enjoyed the pictures

I made up a little on man blind with camo netting and three lightweight bamboo poles for hunting solo. No pictures of it though.

One of the best tasting birds in Humboldt
