I would lean toward a mini truck. Sucks you can not register them for the road in the US!

I tried it, it, it did not work!

Don't take it in the mud (you already know this) or across the rock bed creek, behind my house, where it has to go over a 6 inch rock. My crew has two of them - they're slow, get stuck very easy in mud or uneven ground, grinds into gear, etc. Definitely not a hunting machine.

If you can produce a CO you can get them street legal in IL.
The newer models are street legal.

I really like my kawi teryx. I got the 4 seater and never had a problem with it making it across a flooded bean field. My only complaint is that its much louder than my in laws ranger.

My buddy uses a JD gator 4x4 to get to blinds in a flooded pasture and re-claimed freshwater marsh. The gator constantly gets stuck and gives a horrible bumpy ride. Based on their experiences I would only recommend the gator if it will be used on gravel roads. They have been very disappointed

That looks like a good duck hunting rig. I plan on making rings to hang my rig em decoys, put a canoe rack on top, gun rack across the back, maybe a deer blind on top. Maybe wader hangers. LOL You have a duck hanging rack as well.

The thing about all these side by sides is the price point of them new! You can buy a good condition 4x4 jeep put some aggressive tires and still have money for cases of shells. They all like them to much for me.

Width, Weight, Length, Suspension, Cost of Parts, Money Pit of Old Jeeps, all have to be considered. Absolutely could not take a jeep where I hunt and I'd ring anyone's neck who tore up my trails, levy's, and crops, trying too. JMHO of course!

Here's my Yamaha Rino in don't know if its the best but it is what I have.
I bought a Yamaha because when my kids were little , I had and still have a Yamaha big bear 350.
It made it though 5 kids , up against trees , in ponds , up side down , jumping things I didn't know it could jump until my kids were grown and told on themselfs , reved up so tight the valves were floating , ran with out oil , you get my meaning ?

So I bought the 680 side by side , I put a wench on the front , dual spot lights front , dual flood lights rear , backup lights ,
A gear rack with two levels and four gun racks , a lower level dog box , upgraded insterment panel , head liner gun racks above the seats, and a quick loading stinger system in front so you drive it into the trailer , onto the stinger and slip one hitch pin in and it's secure .

Those are truly hunting rigs - I ordered a SxS a last week.
Same here - waited for the kids to grow up and get out.
I'm so looking forward to the convenience

but its extremely slow, seat sucks, ride is horrible, the hydrostatic transmission really sucks, and its pretty gutless.

my grandpa has a Kubota 900 too, we had a 2004 3010 mule, my buddy has a ranger, and I drive an 825i gator at work.

Hands down the ranger and gator are the only 2 UTV's I'd consider buying for more utility/ hunting/ work use. The gator also as spare plugs and switches making it super easy and clean to install extra lights and other accessories.

The 4 seater is $11,699 - 2 seater $9,699 = Base Price.
Hard to find one at a Honda Dealership, why I ended up with green instead of Camo.
