Please pray for my daughter!

Postby trowlan1 » Wed Jan 15, 2014 11:10 am

I know I normally lurk more than I participate in threads, but I could use some prayers for my family. We went to the doctor today for a follow up appointment concerning a spot showing up in the ultrasound on Carolyn's bowels in the prenatal ultrasound (we're at 25 weeks). They said a lot of times it is nothing, but it is possible that it could be an indicator of Cystic Fibrosis, or some other conditions I can't spell. Primarily as a precaution, they've scheduled an appt. next week with a specialist to investigate it further. Please pray for a clean bill of health for Carolyn.Image

I know first hand what you are going through. my youngest daughter had a bright bowel on her ultrasound in 2011. she was born 3 months early and spent over 5 months in the nicu. she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, but today she is doing great. they wanted to test my other daughter to see if she was a carrier and the results came back that she had cf also but you would never know it. cf is much more treatable the earlier it is detected. lets pray for a clean bill of health, but just remember cf is not the end of the world either. God bless

I pray for you brother but like someone told me recently...worrying and stressing over something thatś way out of your control is not helping you, your baby, or your wife. If I were you , every chance I got I would hold the wife close, whisper gently into her ear that ...
Honey, everything will be fine.

SHE is the one who needs the prayers.

I will pray for all three of you. God bless.

Thanks Betty. Even though I'm a chronic worrier, we're trying not to stress to much about it. However, because it does help, we're offering it up for prayer (anywhere we can get it.)

Praying for your family.
I went into the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
