That and with a 1.5" choke, it's 27.5" instead of a long tom 30"...

What kind of choke are you using? I'd shoot a 30" if I could get one.

I hunted with a fella once who was shooting a bolt action 10 ga. I've never seen another.

Give the guys at Angleport a call. They're in Steve-o's area. I send my guns to them to have back bored and have the forcing cones lengthened.

Their chokes are also freaking ridiculous! I have a few angleports for my SBE1

If you're ever in the area you can walk in with the particular shell you want to shoot, and they will custom grind you a choke to maximize performance for that shell.

Hop, best patterns I saw out of the a400 came from Pure Gold IC and Mod waterfowl chokes

Well you just made my wallet cry. I will need 2 made, 1 for Winchester long beard xr 2oz #6 and one for kent faststeel 1 1/4 oz #1. Also learned from Carlson that buying chokes for an A400 isn't cheap.

My Xtrema is back bored and has all angle port chokes. When I called them about a couple they were only like 55 bucks I thought.

The xtrema doesn't have the HP choke system, beretta built the chokes out of a thinner material and to get a full choke they must make them out of a more durable material which means a higher consumer price.
