I have not spoken to Woods yet, but as of right now we are in. I'll bring some homemade boudin balls and I'll mix up some remoulade to go with it for an appetizer. I'll bring the Ice Cream machine to make some Lime Sorbet. I can pick up a bottle of the new bayou rum for daiquiris made in the ice cream machine if anyone wants some.

Let me know what else you wanna cook Cason, I'm open to whatever. Lots of options....

We still have time to figure all that out once we have a set roster of humans.

Oh yeah no rush. Just saying in general.

Woods and I talked about crawfish or shrimp possibly. Right now it's pretty wide open on who can come. With the exception of a few. We do need people who commit to honor that commitment. We have a lot of room, but remember that you are taking someone's spot when you commit.

I'll also throw this out...Inshore Brown shrimp season usually opens around May 15th....I may be able to drive down and get some fresh off the boats at the dock....

General BBQ stuff will be necessary. Cole slaw, potato salad, sauce. That sort of stuff. Lots of snack foods to keep wonton busy.

Yes, noted. Woods is out of town this weekend, I will speak to him when he is back in town.

I'll be bringing some of our homemade andouille for finger food as well. Goes good with Cajun Mustard and steens dipping sauce.

I'm out for sure. I would've been great to meet everyone but it'll have to wait til another day.

First the slaughter and now the OOS'er feast.

Drink a fifth or ten for me.

Sounds good. The weekend before i will be fishing in the gulf, if all works out could bring a kingfish or amberjack to throw on the grill or smoker.

Frying can be a hassle, so I will leave that up to the bosses. Just an option.

I might be interested. Is turkey season done then? I'll have to wait for a later date to determine if this is doable. If anybody has any objections let me know now or forever keep your peace.

Done...will need duck breasts though. With all the food, this will likely be an appetizer.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that it won't be necessary for anyone to transport duck breasts. If Cason don't got em, all ya gotta do is let me know how many hundred ya need.
