Some of y'all may remember the picture of the tripod I posted a while back. It was an acquaintance's dog that fell off the front of a moving boat (while the owner was looking backwards at the motor and ran into something) and lost a leg.

Here he is about 10 days after the accident:

A couple months later, the dog is out hunting again, and takes off after something. He isn't found until 4 days later when he finally came to a piece of clothing. 4 days on a marshy barrier island full of coyotes, and he's fine.

I'm not sure that kid is going to see 30, and I am starting to feel even more sorry for that dog...

Hmmm...

This is why I strictly enforce an all paws on bottom deck rule while inda boat. dog on the front deck and that is exactly what can happen.

Video would not play for me, but I read the article...is that kid an accident magnet?

Seen the video on the news last night. Coast Guard rescues a lot of dogs.
Lonely wives, dirty trucks , and happy dogs.

Go figure... NBC News couldn't even get the fact straight that it was a lab... you know... the most popular dog in the U.S..... :hammer:

Holy SHIOT if I were the dog I would run away too. With that kids luck they will both be lucky to survive till tomorrow.
