So i was watching street outlaws on discovery, made me think of the little stuff we do out on the gravel.
Last summer, only one of us actually could drive, so that limited us to quads and snowmobiles during the winter.
Nothing to brag about but alot of these were ideas brought up around the fire as time passers, just a little friendly "Mines faster" competition among the neighborhood kids

*Yamaha Kodiak 400*
Tied a tug of war with a Polaris 400
Took 2nd in a corn field track vs a 400 arctic cat and another Kodiak
Mudding i cant say im any good at, I do have the oldest and narrowest tires that happen to almost be out of top tred, so

Now sled are a different story
*96 yamaha Vmax*
3 short track wins against my buddies 440 puma
1 tied race vs another friends 600 el tigre

*97 cougar*
2 wins and 1 loss -short track race against the puma
multiple drag wins vs that little puma even with a handicap

Dad told me a couple stories, was hoping you guys might share some of yours!
If offended, and or irritated with the above post, please refer to my caring face :hi:

Sell those girly toys and get into some hobby stock racing!!! I started in karts, then to micro sprints for kids, then regular micro sprints, sprints, and then to hobby at 17 stock and now I'm running a B mod every Saturday night lol...! If you enjoy the racing you can get into hobby stock at must dirt tracks for a fairly cheap investment and a little effort!!!

Nothing is cheap about racing.

It's cheaper than offshore fishing, but that's about it.

Used to know a guy who raced sprint cars and this was about 15 years ago.
His annual racing budget exceeded a million dollars. NOT CHEAP.

Heck, just the fuel costs to go from race to race can really add up. I've been wanting to get more involved in antique tractor pulling. I already have the tractor, trailer, and truck but fuel cost is what keeps me from doing it.

Wheaties and bigger pedals should help Clamp ? I hear neighbors are already complaining about a Grown Man racing
around the block making a loud sound like a full blown fueler ? :lol3:

We were having boat races at our local speedway one year (tow a boat behind your car, whoever has the most of the boat and trailer left wins) and there was this car painted like a Mexican flag. Well long story short, the car crashes, catches fire, and 8 guys jump out and start running around.

What is so funny about that? That means at least another 6 burned in that car.

You forgot about the boat, it was probably 16 more.

Well, we had 23 in an F250 until it hit a tree a couple years ago. Your number sounded low.
