I guess that depends on what your using it for. Don't know how great of a bass reel that is...but for my inshore its my go to next to the Cardiff 400 (only bc it has the clicker)

I've never thrown a baitcaster. What makes then better than a spinning reel? Or what situations do you use them for?

I have a pinnacle lp100 that I bought for really cheap. Pretty smooth for the money.

I just ran to wal mart to get some jigs and was looking at the lew's. They looked pretty nice.

t_b, when shimano stopped making the original curado, everyone here switched to the Lew's. Very dependable reel.
