Years ago there was a girl in WI who fell through the ice while skating and was underwater for 20 minutes before EMS recovered her.

Today she has three kids and a job, no brain damage. The cold just slowed everything down to a trickle but kept her alive.

They think the same sort of think happened here. Almost like hibernating.

They say up to a hour in cold water you can last. Guy on the FD is on the county dive team and has recovered a couple people with similar stories.

Real question is how did someone sneak onto the plane... Makes all that security really worth while if people can just hop over a fence and walk up to a plane!!

In the US, The TSA is not there for security of passengers on flights. It is there to CYA the airlines :censored: for insurance purposes. It has been proven many times how flawed the TSA security is. Many people have smuggled weapons onto planes since the implementation of the TSA.

I've accidentally carried on a knife with a 3 inch blade.

You could easily carry the means take down a plane if that was your goal.

The TSA is a knee jerk feel good.

TSA doesn't patrol perimeter fencing or external security at airports.

TSA, however, is mostly a bunch of bumbling mo-rons.

You want to pay for that has 360 degree perimeter security to protect against the 1 and 10 million chance it will be enough? Our populous has no understanding of risk or opportunity cost.

it is a fact he could have put a bomb on the plane if he crawled into it himself without being noticed!

I remember when the kid fell out of the plane in Boston when they lowered the landing gear and his dead body fell to the earth....

Can only imagine how bad life must have been for that kid to take a chance like he did.

Probably didn't understand how slim his chances were.
