The fall seaon is officially is here. My Cabelas Waterfowl catalogue arrived yesterday. I was reading it over last night, and guess what I dreamed over night? Yup, waylaying Snows over the decoys.

Mine arrived also, but in the mailbox there was an extra bonus, the new Wildfowl magazine. I haven't opened either yet, but I have an hour long conference call later today, so the Cabelas will get a workout.

I can look at things and listen at the same time, but reading and listening doesn't work so well.

Fall doesn't officially begin, until there is football. Fall officially begins on September 3, when UGA whips up on Boise St. It is also opening day of dove season.

Got mine last week! My wife wrote "Brad's wish list" on the cover in black sharpie. She saw my yellow highlighted items, folded corner pages and the post it notes in the catalog and thought she would be funny!

Man... I wish I had mine to highlight....

I called the audimated catologue request-- and it said I should git it in 2-3 weeks!

The closest thing I have to this years one is my 2003 edition.

That one definitely has its share of "doggie eared" pages

I noticed in the cabela's waterfowl they didn't have some of the new decoys that Mack's is offering notably from GHG,also they have their own label bluebills that look very convincing. Cabela's opens a new store nearby in two weeks so I held off ordering from the catalog. I already recieved my order from Mack's and anticipate another from Redhead (Bass Pro) anyday now. Wildfowl is always a favorite around here, in the new one page 92 check out the hybrid article. I shot one two years ago so loved this picture. Usually I turn to the banding reports (page 16-17) first, kind of the centerfold for me and for you who aren't married, QuackHead threw in another wallhanger on page 3!
There is no help for this kind of insanity. I'm just a duck hunter, and should not be held accountable for all my actions between October 1st and freeze-up. Gordon MacQuarrie
