Postby AK Ducks » Thu Sep 08, 2005 12:49 pm

just wanted to know the size of the town that most DHC members live in.
I live in a town of 30,000
thanks to the men and woman of the United States Coast Guard- without them I would not be here.

About 8k people here over 25% of the population is hurricane refugees. Pretty nice town there is about 7,000 Acers flooded for waterfowl in just this county and about 20,000a of public hunting land which equals to about 10.9 Square miles of public waterfowl hunting and about 31.4 Square miles of just public ground. We have cut-off creek WMA, Seven devils swamp Waterfowl management area, and the Casey Jones lease system. So maybe this will give you an Idea of where I live (Middle of no where).

I'm not sure of the exact population, but it ain't many. We have 2 traffic lights if that gives you any indication of the size of our burg. Lots of dirt roads, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :salude:

My town is ~ 7,000 people, maybe. Problem is it's now entirely surrounded by a city that's claimed everything around it with a population of 50 - 60,000 or more depending on the job situation. Still basically independant, laid back and a pain in their rear.

prinsburg = 458

third street was on the edge of town, you call the wrong number and talk for 15 minutes yet, everybody waves, one gas station, a farmers co-op, not one stop light. bad part is that the one gas station is a monopoly and rapes people for bread and stuff. Anyway prinsburg is small

were probably about 13,000 now and getting bigger (population wise) practically everyday. as a suburb of portland and the only dirt for miles..lots of subdevelopments are going in and commuters are moving out this way.

so..we'll probably crack the 15,000 mark before long, but still feels like a small town.
