Teal Season

Postby gsphunter » Thu Jul 06, 2006 1:21 pm

Teal Season dates were just announced. The teal numbers are up this year, so we get a longer season.

Sept 9 - Sept 24. Same limit as last year = 4 green or blue wing per day.

Only 2 months away. I can't wait.

Sounds great! I'm gonna love taking the kids out for teal.

Still too bad we can't include woodys in with teal season like many states.

Yeah no kiddin bgold. A group of woodies screamin in looks alot like a group of teal screamin in, so you know there are some getting shot. It's not like there isn't enough of them around here either.

You guys are lucky... I wish we had an early season on an anything! We've got one season for ducks, geese.... everything.

Wanna feel even worse?

We have an early goose season as well. Usually 3 birds a day instead of two later in the season.

Hey, did you grab the blind bag with the shells when we left the truck?

That would be a blast!

We should try to work something out before the season starts. I know EB and GP are pretty good for teal...

Someone work on it. I've got one or two spots for teal, public though. Pretty crappy here in the lower SW corner of the state. You'll see two or three flights VERY early in the morning, then it's done.

I think the best thing to do is figure out in what area everyone wants to meet, and go from there. We could all meet down south by you, in the middle of the state close to me or where ever you guys want.

I would think that the more north the better. My 2-cents. :salude:
