Shot A banded goose yesterday:

INFORMATION FROM OUR FILES:
Species: LARGE CANADA GOOSE
Date banded: 06/16/2005
Banding Location: YOU'LL NEVER KNOW, MISSOURI, USA
Age: HATCHED IN 2004 OR EARLIER
Sex: MALE

9 years old. He was a pretty big goose too, weighed in at 12.6lbs. :beer:

Do they have small canada geese there ? is that close to never never land ?

That's what it said "Large Canada Goose" lol. And Tyson, you had the intimidation factor with the patented "Benelli click". And yes, it's just west of never never land.

Congrats! I got a banded goose on 29 December... I would love to shoot a local banded greater!

Mine was a banded "small goose"!!!!!!

Speaking of old check this honker out i shot today. Its feet are almost white instead of black and he has grey on the ends of his feathers. His beak is even starting to turn white. He has the biggest head of any goose i have ever shot also. I wear 2xl gloves and his head covers my hand. lol

Congrats on the band Marshfoot!

Golden - That goose is crazy looking? I guess that's age and not a genetic mutation. Weird!
