Have the snows showed up at squaw creek refuge?

Postby 0321Tony » Wed Feb 27, 2013 4:58 pm

Hey I am coming down next week for a snow goose hunt and herd that after the storms you guys had the snows left. Have they returned yet? Does anyone have any hunting reports? We will be hunting the mound city area.

Thanks

Tony

they've been flying out constantly. saw about 17,000 flying east/ SE today. only saw about 40 feeding in a field. I dont suspect they'll be back any time soon. It was still snowing all day today.

me and a buddy killed 31 last week in NW Missouri, good numbers then but that was before the snowstorm...still some birds around but most pushed south again as you have been told. Weather warming in to the high 40's and 50's in the next 7 days or so looks promising for a swift return...Good luck, when it's right there is nothing like it! Shoot em in the lips
