Hey fellas from KC

Hey fellas. I am new to this site so I thought I would just say hello.

I'm new to KC and am looking for any tips on good CAs to check out. I am looking for something a little closer than four rivers. You don't need to drop your honey hole on me, but if you know a small lake or something where it is pretty easy to kill a couple ducks, please let me know. I'd appreciate it and wouldn't mind company if you want to come along. I just bought a couple of layout boats I wouldn't mind tryin out.

I got a couple honey holes elsewhere in the state, but nothing out here. I'll probably open the season up near Kirksville. I had some good hunts up there.

Anyways, just thought I would say hello and see if you vets have any ideas for me.

also, if you guys have any idea on how to rig a blind on a stealth 1200, I'm all ears. I got my four rivers one pretty line out. Thanks.

Try Pogue on 7 hwy outside of Clinton. It has alot of strip pits and not much pressure. Try the back pits away from the roads. Be careful wading. There are some very steep drops.
I'll start treating my wife as good as my dog when she starts fetching ducks.

Probably won't see me there. I built my own pond for hunting. I walk about 125 yards out my backdoor to the blind. I used to hunt Pogue though, I have shot alot of birds there.
