Where to hunt near Springfield

Postby will1515 » Wed Jun 19, 2013 8:36 pm

I will be attending Missouri State this coming fall and I am wanting to find a few areas near to duck and goose hunt for when I don't want to drive home and hunt. Also another tips or anything about hunting in that area are great. Thanks

Should have gone to SEMO if you want access to hunting. Get in the truck and put on the miles when the birds are around. Get used to knocking on doors or looking at lake maps.
Work hard, relax hard.

Anything else you would like???? Perhaps for them to point you towards all the virgin women in the area as well!
If you live in MO and waterfowl hunt you should know what the waterfowl hunting in SWMO is like!!!! Your fault for picking to go to that area! Get in your truck and drive about 2 hours west or north..

There are plenty of ducks in swmo. Just need to get out and put in some wheel time and glass some areas.

There are some good places to hunt in SWMO. Having a boat makes it a lot easier. I've been duck hunting for a while and just invested in a good rig. Wish I would've done it a long time ago. Other than that get a plat map from the courthouse and start looking on google earth
