I am considering joining a duck club north of St. Louis.
Anyone have any experience with or knowledge of either the Golden Eagle Hunt Club (St. Charles) or the Flyway Hunt Club (Portage Des Sioux)? Thanks.

have a friend in Golden Eagle, have hunted there with him, they can kill some ducks, heard some good things about Flyway. I'm in another club nearby, been happy with it. Overall it's a solid area but like most, all depends on weather and wind. As of right now crops are gonna be in short supply this year but everyone will be in the same boat. Good luck

I don't think there is a club in the bottoms that will be able to get there corn in this year. As of this morning most of Highway B is still flooded.

Now that the river is going down are people able to try and plant corn? Or is it time to broadcast millet?

if people were smart they would be drawing down and not bother with planting...One of these days folks might realize corn is NOT king.
