So who's passing on the tradition this weekend???

Just wondering on who's taking a youth out this weekend. I think I'm going to join a buddy and his neighbor on Sunday. I would like to go Sat. but I have to set the dekes at the club. Take a youth if you can, its the only way our great tradition will survive.

Taking my little brother (12) and a couple of his buddies this weekend! I think I am more excited than they are!

If I wasn't running in a Hunt Test, I'd be out there with my buddies younger brothers.

What club are you setting dekes at on Sat?

The Mucky Duck Club. Its north of the Winfield Dam. Its fairly small, only has 5 pits on it now.

Gotcha, I know where you are talking about. I can't believe the numbers we have already. I saw some video last night from a club a little south of you, and there were thousands of new ducks pouring in.

I will be next weekend. Darn middle zone. My son will be going on his first hunt w/ a gun. He's 7 and has been practicing all summer. He needs alot more. I have a feeling if he gets a duck, it will have to be sitting on the water!
I'll start treating my wife as good as my dog when she starts fetching ducks.

I didn't get the chance to go with a youth, but I did go Sun. just to watch and the youths in one of the other pits were having a good morning. Looks like they were shooting a nice variety of ducks.

How far south. I know a lot of the clubs throughout Lincoln County. Saw lots, and I mean lots of ducks Sunday morning.
