Hopefully heavy snow cover wont keep the fowl pushing south into Arkansas just yet.

The snows are moving straight on thru. Not a very good sign for retaining ducks.
I'll start treating my wife as good as my dog when she starts fetching ducks.

We'll be alright. This front will probably push em down, and when the weather clears this weekend they'll stick around. There's still a ton of mallets up north.

Birds are down!!! There are about 10,000 snows on a bean field within a 1/2 mile of me and more landing every minute. Seen tons of canadas and quite a few ducks. Should have shot my limits of ducks and geese by 8:00am, but I half a$$ed cleaned my gun after yesterdays hunt and missed some water. Spent all morning fighting with shells sticking in the chamber, frozen firing pin and action. I managed to choke out a gad drake and 2 mallard hens.

This is going to get good. I wish I could get out there today. However, I will be there tomorrow for sure.
