Hotels/Motels

Any dog friendly hotels/motels within an hour north of St Josephs? I'm lookin to take a trip up there to do some pheasant/duck hunting in november. Looking for a cheap place that I can bring the dog in with me. I'm not lookin for anything to fancy.

Audrey's Motel in Mound City allows pets, if you can get a room there.

actually so does Super 8 in Mound City. i've stayed at both for spring snows and brought my hound in the room for a fee. never been there in the fall but i'd expect them to both be pretty busy with hunters

Thanks for the information, I will look into those places and do some online research and make some phone calls. It's just not always easy finding a place that allows dogs so I appreciate the information.

I will second this, stayed there for the opener a few years back and it was fine. Just a lot of hunter traffic in the halls EARLY that my dog was very interested in!!
