Reservations are out

Anybody get anything? I got my 3rd choice of Four Rivers on 11/26. First time I've gotten drawn in the last 3 years.

If your intent on hunting with your dad and dont want to waste a reservation you could each take your party to the flooded timber and hunt together in there. No clue if it would be worth it, but you would get to hunt with your dad and wouldnt have skipped out on someones reservation to do it.

Hey sehunter, as much as my dad would love to hunt pool 8, he is 80 years old with bad knees. He is definitely a blind/boat blind hunter. The guy still loves to hunt and will till the end.

Out of 6 of us we only got 1 reservation. Dec. 5th at BK. That was his 3rd choice. I haven't gotten one in 4 or 5 years now!!!! Now we have to decide which 4 of the 6 of us are going, if it's worth it, to BK.

Nothing...put in for nodaway, bob brown, and fountain. I've been drawn the past 3yrs so i can't complain too much.

I better hit some QDs...although i haven't had too much luck there!

You would think choosing 3 CAs and choosing anytime during the season would get you a draw. I mean, that should set you up for the greatest possibility of getting drawn right?

Well, not the case! Big fat zero...

2 for 4 this year, one better than last. Columbia bottoms 12/8 and Shanks on 12/14. Neither were first choices, keeping my fingers crossed for a qd this year...

Neither my son or I got one. My father and a couple buddies each got duck creek. One of the guys I hunt with hasn't had one in about 10 years.

I put in my son, myself and one of my son's friends. My son's buddy got drawn for 11/10 at Duck Creek. I guess 1 out of 3 aint too bad. The first 6 years I duck hunted I got drawn every year. Now nothing for 3 years in a row. I guess I used up all my luck.

Someone else I know who I will not name got drawn for Duck Creek on Christmas Eve.

I wonder how many people who get drawed actually put a certain date and get drawn for that day? I always choose first available myself.

First time i tried res system I put in specific date. Then read more and more about it and the stats on the odds and have always put first available since then. And had good luck... Til this year. Depending on which duck park you try for you have about between 10-25% chance of getting it. So odds are against you regardless. I'd like to know how many guys get a specific day and I'd also like to know MDC actually does this. I wonder how many applicants they get?
