Postby gsphunter » Mon Jul 18, 2005 7:07 am

Hey guys, just letting you know that the Managed Deer hunts are open to put in for now.

Here is a link. http://www.conservation.state.mo.us/cgi ... whunts.cgi

If you guys put in for them, let everyone know where you put in for and why. Also if you chose a bow hunt, rifle, shotgun, or muzzle loader.

I put in for Busch Wildlife which is in St. Charles County. Lots of deer, but then again lots of hunters.

It's always nice to have a place to go 15 minutes away from home. The main place that I go is a little over two hours away, so that is a whole weekend ordeal, whereas I can hit this after school or work.

The trick now is to get drawn.

I put in for the Longview lake hunt in south Kansas City. I have seen some monsters in there. They added more hunters this year, and this year you only have to check in one doe before the buck. This is a bow only area. Everyone wants to get in there, so, my chances probably are pretty slim.
