Drawing Results for Duck Hunting

You are now able to check to see if you were drawn for any of the managed areas. Hope you got one, or two or three.

Yeah, you would think that since you put in for any day you would have a better chance.

I guessing more and more hunters are figuring out that the managed areas have a lot to offer and more people than ever are getting their names in the pot.

Sorry to hear about your luck.

So far so good, I'm three for three on the people I've checked that will be hunting with me. Four more to go. Thanks for posting the link Webfoot.

6 for 6 now and I can't get a hold of the seventh guy! 11/4, 11/8, 11/14, 11/21, 11/29/ and 12/22. That's gonna be a lot of time off of school.

I got opening weekend, a buddy did not get picked yet.

Is it true they can take a week to get it all done? Seems like they would wait to post the results.

I got nothing and my buddy only got one.
If they weren’t meant to be eaten, then why are they made of meat?

Seems like everyone I've talked to got a spot at Shanks. It was all of our third choice. Oh well, a bad day at Shanks is better than a good day at work. :salude: :salude:

I've actually had some pretty good days at Shanks. I can't really justify driving over 2 hours to some of the other places for a one day hunt. Shanks is only an hour and 15 minutes from home. With gas prices the way they are that is plenty far to drive for me. Especially since I'm going to make a couple trips to KS this year from some ducks, pheasants, and quail.
