hey guys...

anyone ever leased through this company? seems like a pretty good deal, but i hate to spend the scratch if the properties are POS.

They call somewhat frequently because I requested information. My gut instinct is if they have to have sales people I might be on the wrong track.

I do like the ability to hunt multiple states, but not sure how many times on a teacher's salary I'll be able to do that.

I wasn't aware that they were leasing on Ebay. I did several searches and was not able to find it...do you have a link?

another thing that has me worried is that you can have unlimited reservations. If there is a good hole, then it might be tied up all season by those "in the know."

thanks

I was in the club for a couple of years, there main draw for waterfowl is a bunch of strip pits.not that good, and hard to hunt very soft bottom, almost inpossible to wade.at the time i was in it they had a pretty good spot on the blackwater river fooded corn stuble the only problem they did not want to pay the land onwer to bury the blinds, they just stuck out like sore thumbs.they ended up loseing that spot, thats when igot out.if you are a hard core duck hunter you will be disiponted

thanks...that is the type of feedback I was looking for - firsthand knowledge of clients - not SPAM, which is what makes me leary of the club to begin with.

you mentioned that you are not a duck hunter. You are missing out. It is the best sport I have ever taken up.

thanks for the clarification Cameron. I appreciate the fact that you are proud of and believe in the company for which you work. I would hate to think someone was able to sell something that they didn't believe in.

The frustration from my end is that I was simply trying to get feedback from others who have experience with HSP. I could have looked at your website on my own. In fact, I receive several emails from your company. I know their point of view. Before spending money I just wanted to get opinions from others. Sure, I could ask HSP, but I doubt that I would receive phone numbers of those who were not happy with the organization.

I don't like to speak for others, but in my view the concern was that you mention you are not a duck hunter, but show up with a first post on a duck hunting website to promote your company. My guess is that you have some form of software that searches the web for mentions of hunting sports plus, then offer your help. I really think that you felt that you were being helpful and for that I thank you, but, as a general rule, regular posters on forums do not take sales pitches in a first post lightly. Probably the best way to handle it would have been to PM me to provide the information - just a thought.
