I have a site for everyone to look at. they usually update it on thursdays. I checked it this morning an it said that some of the geese have started to move down bring and bringing a few ducks. Also it gives a report of medicine lake of low numbers but a lot of sandhill cranes. The weather is supposed to be in the 50's to low 30's. the site is www.huntthenorth.com

Thanks Get'em. I won't be happy until I get a report that says 'too many ducks in Montana to imagine' but any ducks are better than none.

Exactly where is Medicine Lake anyway. I got my swan tag this year, and am looking for somewhere to fill it.
Lord......let me be as good a hunter as my dog thinks I am....amen

Medicine lake is about as far up in NE MT as you can go without invading ND.
Check your swan tag its flyway specific. If its for the pacific flyway its real hard to beat freezeout right about now. Call the freezeout waterfowl hotline. Its not really much of a hunt. Ive shot 7 swans up there. None this year though. Stupid prefrence points! There great eating though.
