Major flight in Eastern MT

Postby phutch30 » Mon Nov 21, 2005 10:25 pm

There is a major push of birds moving thru eastern MT near Forsyth. This morning we saw thousands and thousands of ducks and geese. I drove by a corn field that had so many ducks and geese we could only guess thier numbers at about 4000, and there was a cloud of birds over the feild. It was awsome. So if your going to be in that area. You might want to bring along your shotgun and some steel shot.

Thanks phutch30
I was starting to wonder if the push last week was all for the year. Lots of stock dams froze and the ducks seemed to be gone. Even had some snows fly over. Plenty of geese around yet.
