I would think that more people are thinking about duck hunting now that big game is over. How is the hunting around Dillon right now? I hunt the Big Hole early in the year. Do you ever get to Painted Rocks? I hear there are lots of birds there but I have never seen it.

There are a few birds around but I haven’t had a chance to go after them. notceaubrite and 7grnhds, I feel for you those were the days. Yesterday I was tasked (told to) develop a management plan for a wilderness study area over by Ennis. It only took about 15 min for me to realize I have an ulcer in the making. So enjoy college while your there. When you get out youll really realize how fun it was.

When are we going to do the group thing...Hunt that is.

i am still here. i have just been out duck hunting so much i havnt been able get on. But here is how i did.
Wednesday,23- 6 greens-1 teal
Thanksgiving,24-7 greens
Frinday,25-6 greens- 1 goldeneye
Saturday,26- 4 green-3 goldeneyes
Sunday,27-7 greens
it was an awsome thanksgiving break i just pounded the birds all weak i shot so many that i took the video camera out and once i limited out i would just film the ducks pouring in the dekes it was pretty cool

Jeeze Get-Em if you ever need a hunting buddy to help you out with all those birds- I will be there in the morning with hot chocholate and donuts to pick you up at your door and give you a ride... :mrgreen:
